November 2006

MOM and DAD came all the way to Korea to visit me!! We had a great week of traveling, and picture taking, and what not.. and believe it or not we didn't fight (too much!)

October 2006

Bike Riding around Asan with Hillary and Kami - but those days are over... sadly Hillary moved back to America, so I am back on my own in Asan again - that and it is now just too cold to venture out on the bicycle!!

September 2006

Relaxing month around Asan - Hillary and I found a small creek by our house that we lay-out in... we bought some Tubes, and would ride our bikes out to it and just relax in the water!!

August 2006

Ne Ho Ma... Is I believe how you say hello in Chinese.. We went to Beijing for the week - Me, Hillary, Kami, and Leslie! It was a great week!

July 2006

Mud Festival!! It is just what it sounds like - a festival with mud!! We got covered in mud, played in mud, painted our bodies with mud.. and just had a great time

June 2006

BUNGEE JUMPING!!!! Me and some friends went Rafting down a "wild" river in Korea!! It was my like a leisurely stroll down the river.. but the real fun started after the rafting - we went bungee jumping! It was SO much fun - and definitely something I will try again!

May 2006

Home for my baby bro's wedding! It was a wonderful trip! Laura and I even made it to TOMBSTONE!!!

April 2006

I turned 28 this month.. But, I was already 29 in Korean Age - so it didn't feel like I was getting older!

March 2006

March turned out to be a fun month!! I ventured up to North Korea for a hiking trip - it was quite the experience!!! There are so many rules we had to follow while there.. One random rule was: When taking a picture of a 'Picture of Kim Jong Il or his Father' only a North Korean can take the picture!! So, here is my picture of me in front of the "Great Leader" taken by an actual North Korean!!

February 2006

Not much going on in Asan this month - I did leave for a few days to get my Visa. I went to Fukukoa, Japan - it was surprisingly very different than Korea (I like Korea more - but then again I am biased!)

January 2006

COLD COLD COLD!!!
This is a view from my apt. when I first got to Asan... I am no longer living in the same place!! I now have 3 bedrooms - 3 patios - and a real bathtub in my apt!! Which is a huge improvement from my studio.

LIVE OCTOPUS!!!

Dad totally ate the live octopus - and he enjoyed it... well, he didn't hate it! I also ate some.. it was quite the fun dinner... It takes a lot of effort just to get the octopus off the plate, and for it to stay on the chopsticks.. it kept on trying to climb up the chopstick as I was putting it in my mouth... Mom enjoyed watching us eat it!!! Korean food is fun, and delicious... great combination
